Business Development Manager – Motor Finance

Our client is a well-established finance provider, specialising in the motor finance arena, with a strong brand and reputation across the UK.
Their specialist division which supports the independent/used car dealer marketplace is growing significantly, and as part of this growth, they are looking to appoint a highly motivated, sales focussed BDM to cover the Liverpool/Wirral/Chester areas.
The existing team have all come from motor trade backgrounds, and as such, we are looking to speak to experienced Business Managers/Transaction Managers or Sales Managers – ideally with used car finance experience, and with an understanding of non-prime/non-standard finance deals.
You will be responsible for targeting used car dealers throughout the territory, to promote the company’s products, and unique USP offering, in order to maximise finance business opportunities. Once the accounts are won, you will also be responsible for the ongoing development, relationship management and growth of those relationships.
The successful candidate will be bright, articulate and target driven, with the ability and confidence to open doors with target accounts, and build relationships at all levels. You will need to demonstrate a good understanding of the motor finance space, particularly in relation to FCA regulations, sales processes and funding products.
